ISABO ITALY · SERVICESCoordinating sea and road legs for a real consignment
01 / Understanding the service

What this service covers

A useful freight quotation starts with the real consignment: contents, number of packages, final weights and dimensions, origin, destination and readiness date. We compare available sea, air, road or combined routes against those facts.

The price of the goods, freight and destination charges are separate. We show which services a quotation includes and which need a separate estimate. Arrival dates are estimates based on carrier schedules.

02 / Your starting point

Who is this for?

  • Your goods are ready and you need to choose a shipping method.
  • You want to compare freight conditions before purchasing.

We request prices for the stated consignment and distinguish included from excluded charges.

03

After your approval, we follow the booking and reconcile sender, receiver and package details with the shipping documents.

04

We obtain status updates, note schedule changes and coordinate the agreed receipt at destination.

04 / Expected outcome

What will you receive?

Comparable freight options

Cargo collection plan

After booking approval, readiness date, loading responsibility and pickup documents are identified.

Cargo status updates

Movement and schedule changes from transport parties, with any action needed at destination.

05 / A closer look

Three principal transport methods

The right method depends on the shipment, destination and required date.

Sea
A ship commonly carries goods in containers; inland movement to and from the ports is also part of the route.
Air
An aircraft moves cargo between airports. Size, weight and acceptance rules matter, and road collection or delivery may still be needed.
Road
A road vehicle carries the goods. Border crossings, road access and loading facilities at both ends matter.

07 / Practical planning

What affects time and cost?

A dependable estimate follows a review of the actual goods, documents and agreed scope.

Weight, volume and packages

Chargeable volume, packaging and consolidation affect capacity and cost.

Origin, destination and delivery scope

Inland legs and terminal-versus-door delivery affect time and price.

Transport mode and available space

Air, sea or road schedules and capacity at the requested date change the estimate.

Cargo requirements

Fragile, heavy, hazardous or temperature-controlled goods need extra equipment or documentation.

09 / Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL reserves a container for your goods. LCL consolidates your goods with others. Volume, sensitivity and service conditions guide the choice.

Does the quoted amount cover delivery to my warehouse?

Check the quotation. Loading, terminal services, clearance, insurance or inland delivery may be separate. We clarify inclusions before booking.

Is the arrival date guaranteed?

No. It is an estimate based on the service schedule; movement or destination operations can change it.

Does freight include insurance?

The offer must say so. If you request cover, check the terms and exclusions with the insurer or provider.
